Amazing interiors, and good finds all around...
I saved about twenty images, and added it to my links.

Valery Lorenzo

greetings
from
Port Lligat,
Spain,

he
writes.

thank you....
see more here,
via Ivan's blog too!

After having a hard day yesterday, I sorted through the day's mail, (not email!)
to find a hand painted envelope from Spain, from Valery Lorenzo. It made me remember how much I love sending out letters, and unannounced packages to friends.

Perhaps, I should spend less time blogging,
and more time writing postcards and making packages! Maybe this summer, I'll get a chance to meet some of you in France in person!
Till, then, postcards and packages it is.

with some research, I find out....

"Portlligat is a small village located in a small bay on Cap de Creus peninsula, on the Costa Brava of the Mediterranean Sea, near the city of Cadaqués in the Alt Empordà comarca, in Girona province, Catalonia, Spain. The Island of Port Lligat is located at the entrance of the bay, separated from the mainland by a narrow 30-meter-wide canal. Salvador Dalí lived in the village and his house has been converted into the Casa-Museo Salvador Dalí. Both the bay and the island have been represented in several of Dalí's paintings, such as The Madonna of Port Lligat, Crucifixion, and The Sacrament of the Last Supper...."

TWIN SPACESHIPS

Interiors:
a bed, with
a black shade

a pink painting,
and a blue
wall.

O.k. I've become addicted to Twin Spaceships lately.
Signe Mae's photographs offer a glimpse of daily life.
Her photographs are usually absent of people, yet they feel so personal...

It's almost hard to place a specific time or place on these photos,
which i find joyous....

I hope she makes them into a book,
sooner than later!

suburban stacks, perhaps?

I'm glad Signe Mae is recording these photos on her blog...
go to her site for way way more..

awe- inspiring spaces.

congrats curious eye on
your new space!

taken from the curious eye blog... go here..

"Built in 1906 in East London, it's part of a classic Victorian red brick school.
Originally used as a gym and assembly hall, it has functioned as an artist's studio for the past 40 years. Now I am lucky enough to be the latest occupant."

perhaps these lamps from Joe Meesters
might go well in that new space?
work made out of PULP!

"PULP is a collection of vessels made entirely out of paper pulp using discarded vessels as a mould. The collection started as a research searching for alternative materials made out of paper waste. By combining other materials with pulp such as epoxy and polyurethane ,
a new material is born with it’s own characteristics leading to a series of vessels made out of paper that can hold water."
