Joanna Grawunder vs The Restaurant.
Robert Restaurant, New York.

Elaine Louie for the NYTimes writes,

"At Robert, the new restaurant on the ninth floor of the Museum of Arts and Design, the focal point is not necessarily the view of Central Park. Consider the orange acrylic LED lighting by Johanna Grawunder, a designer based in San Francisco and Milan. The rest of the design flowed from there, Ms. Grawunder said, including the palette of orange, purple and vermilion, and the choice of seating. (Vladimir Kagan’s 1956 Floating Back sofa was altered to keep the legs from jutting out enough to trip the waiters.)"
